Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about story submissions, live streams, and payments.
How do I know if my story will be read?
Stories submitted through the Priority Queue are placed at the top of our list for the upcoming live stream. While we aim to cover all priority submissions, the order is determined by the time of submission and the flow of the broadcast.
What happens if you don't get to my story?
If time runs out before your priority story is read, it will automatically roll over to the next scheduled live stream with top-priority status. If you prefer a refund instead of a roll-over, please contact us within 24 hours of the missed session.
Can I remain anonymous?
Yes. We only read the name or alias you provide in the "Name" field of the submission form. We never share your email address or real identity on air. Please ensure you have used pseudonyms (fake names) for everyone else in your story as well.
How long should my story be?
For the best engagement, we recommend 300 to 800 words. This provides enough detail for the community to understand the situation without the narrative becoming overly long for a live format.
Can I edit my story after I pay?
Once a story is submitted and the payment is processed, it is immediately added to the queue for review. Because of this, we cannot guarantee that edits can be made. Please double-check your text and ensure you've asked "Was I in the wrong?" before hitting submit.
What kind of feedback should I expect?
The goal is to provide honest, community-driven perspectives on the situations shared. Feedback may be blunt or varied, as the purpose of the platform is to explore different viewpoints on the conflict described.
Is my payment secure?
Yes. All transactions are handled securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details on our servers.
